Therapeutics

Therapeutics

Student enrichment goes beyond the academics. Logos therapeutics serves to be a liaison between academics and parental involvement, which allows our program to execute our mission daily. We have 14 adolescent therapists on staff. Each student is assigned an individual therapist upon admission to the program. Therapists provide conflict mediation, crisis intervention, anger management and behavior modification programs. It is through the therapy, that students receive the psycho-social and emotional support necessary to navigate the struggles and challenges that endure within and outside of the academic setting. Through individual treatment planning and a primary focus on the relationship, therapy has been the gateway to positive growth for our students in many areas of their lives. Supporting the Logos mindset ‘We turn struggles into strengths,’ the therapy program consists of individual, student group and behavior intervention therapy.

Individual Therapeutics

Upon enrollment, each student at Logos is assigned a therapist. The therapist collaborates with the student to develop academic and therapeutic goals and provide support to the student in meeting their identified goals.

Behavior Intervention Therapy

The behavior intervention programs serve as an additional therapeutic resource. It takes a village and the Student Empowerment Center (SEC) and Artful X-pressive Individualized Support (AXIS) programs support the individual and group therapy that is occurring on a weekly basis. The SEC provides brief therapeutic intervention and allows a student an opportunity to process an incident that is immediate. The intended purpose is to provide students a safe place where they can readjust and then return to their classroom. AXIS is available to students in need of extended therapeutic support.
